Burlington Walk Information - June 14, 2009
9am registration, 10am walk
BEACHWAY PARK (at the Pump House), Lakeshore Road, Burlington, Ontario
- Paved Path along Ontario Lake.
- Dogs must be on leash.
- Dogs are not allowed on the beach.
- There will be 2 trails to choose from, a 2km walk or 4 km walk - out and back.
- Water and Hot Dogs will be available at the event.
- Washroom facilities and city Snack Bar on site.
- In the event of rain, the Pump House will be used for registration, merchandise and silent action tables.
- Free Parking.
- Walk starts and ends at the Pavilion.
Driving Instructions: From the QEW (East or West Bound), take QEW Niagara. Take the first exit - North Shore (before the Burlington Skyway bridge). Go East (left) on North Shore Blvd and turn right onto Lakeshore Road after Jo Brant Hospital. The Pavilion and Pump house will be 1/2 km on the left hand side.
Calgary Walk Information - May 3, 2009
11am registration, 12pm walk

MC - Christina Rowsell
Christina Rowsell has been a personality on radio in Calgary for 13 years. From hosting morning shows, to working in the news room, to hosting and producing a National Evening Show across Canada called "Christina At Night". She can be heard these days on Lite 96 from 9am to 2pm weekdays - listen live at www.lite96.ca and check out www.crvoice.com or www.dearchristina.ca .
She's the proud mom of a 3 year old Soft Coated Wheaton Terrier named Priddis. Yes, just like the town Priddis Alberta. No, that's not where she got him... that's where Christina and her husband Chad got married... and as a wedding gift to each other, they picked up Priddis! He's an energetic dog that loves everyone... who isn't afraid to show it... be prepared to be licked to death. On top of her mom duties to Priddis - Christina has a new addition to her family... her son Hudson born July 2007.
- Dogs must be on leash.
- There will be two trails to choose from, a 2 km trail, and a 4 km trail.
- Water and Hot Dogs will be available at the event.
- Washroom facilities and water are available on site.
- You may park in Parking Area J, L, or M, which are all closest to the Snowy Owl shelter, and the start and end point for the walks.
- Picnic Tables and BBQ pits are available for use.
Driving Instructions: From Glenmore Trail SW, take Crowchild Trail South ramp and turn left onto Crowchild Trail SW then turn right onto 66 Avenue SW for about 2.5 km and the park entrance will be on the left.
Gravenhurst Walk Information - July 4, 2009
12pm registration, 1pm walk
The Muskoka Wharf, 821 Bay Street, Gravenhurst, Ontario
- Dogs must be on leash.
- Registration and Start of the Walk are at the Pavillion.
- There will be two trails to choose from, a 2 km trail and a 4 km trail - both out and back.
- Water & Hot Dogs will be available at the event.
- Parking available for free all around the Wharf.
Driving Instructions: From Hwy 11, take the Bethune Drive, Hwy 169 exit toward Gravenhurst. Go straight onto Bethune Dr S, Provincial Route 169. Turn left onto Brock St, PR 169 and continue to follow PR 169 / DR 169. Turn right onto Bay St / PR 169 then left on Bay St till you reach 821 Bay Street.
Montreal Walk Information - August 30, 2009 (le 30 août, 2009)
10am registration, 11am walk (10am enregistrement, 11am promenade
Le Centre de la Nature de Laval , 901 Park Avenue (901, avenue du Parc), Laval, Québec
- Dogs must be on leash.

- There will be two trails to choose from, a 2 km loop or a 4 km loop.
